Application and development status of radial tire on wheeled tractor
The imported wheeled tractors above 102.9hp on the domestic market have been equipped with radial tires, but the domestic tractors are rarely equipped with radial tires. Even if they are equipped with radial tires, the user has not timely and correctly increased or decreased the tire pressure according to the load size.
The radial tire was invented in 1946 and applied to agricultural tires in 1959. Compared with the traditional diagonal technology widely used in agricultural tires in China, the grounding area of the agricultural radial tire is larger than that of the diagonal tire of the same specification. In the case of soft soil, the agricultural radial tire can reduce skidding, thus improving traction and reducing fuel consumption.
The carcass structure and material of the radial tire are completely different from the ordinary diagonal tire structure. The carcass cord angle is designed to be about "zero" degree, which is similar to the "radial" structure, so as to eliminate the shear stress between the carcass plies of the ordinary diagonal agricultural tire. At the same time, it can increase the flexibility of the tire side, improve the driving comfort and reduce the bumpiness: the belt layer is the key technology of the radial tire design, and can use a large angle to increase the rigidity of the tire ground area, reduce the deformation of the tire after inflation, and increase the ground area, thus improving the traction of the tire and reducing the ground pressure.
